Bio: Hi, I'm Josiah, I'm LKT's "Brosiah" Chair. Okay seriously, as a boy growing up in the DMV, I dreamed of being a cartoonist. I took loads of art classes and then thought about becoming a film concept artist. Then one day I found myself reading a lot high fantasy and sci-fi like The Lord of the Rings and Isaac Asimov books. Talks with my best friend growing up revealed he liked those stories too but mostly in film format and it was from him that I learned about screenwriting. Learning to write more and more has allowed me to have all kinds of adventures in media production, from writing my own novel with my dad to acting in a friend's independent feature. It there's one thing that has stuck with me through the years, its to appreciate the small things, the creatively formative years as it were. Because you can't that time back, so use it wisely to learn as much as you can, mess up, and eventually excel.
